In this disclosure, “the Verdict,” “we,” and “our” mean this website, The GLP-1 Verdict; “you” means the reader; a “provider” is any company we review; and an “affiliate link” is an outbound link that may pay us a commission if you sign up through it.
This is the part most sites bury. We put it up front because the whole point of a watchdog is that you can see how it is funded. The GLP-1 Verdict is a reader-supported, independent comparison publication: when you click through to a provider and sign up, we may earn a commission — at no additional cost to you. That commission funds our research, the ongoing re-verification of provider pricing, and keeping this site free to read. Here is exactly how it works.
Assume everyone we list may pay us
We hold affiliate relationships with providers we cover, and those relationships change over time. Rather than tag individual links and risk one going stale, we ask you to apply a simple rule to the whole site: assume any provider we list may compensate us if you sign up through our link — at no additional cost to you. That is the honest default, and it is disclosed here in keeping with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s guidance on endorsements.
Compensation never moves the score
The Verdict Score is our editorial judgment, formed under the same weighted factors for every provider — see our methodology. A commercial relationship never adds a point to a score, and a provider that performs poorly is scored accordingly whether they pay us or not. We would rather lose a commission than launder a bad provider into a good ranking — that credibility is the only asset a watchdog has.
What compensation can and cannot touch
To be precise about the line: compensation may influence promotional emphasis — which providers get a spotlight or a featured card, and how often we write about them. It cannot touch the Verdict Score or the substance of a review, and it never changes the price you pay. Placement on the page is what our funding moves, and we would rather print that than leave you to work it out. If a paying provider and a non-paying provider are both reviewed, both are scored on the identical rubric, and the finding that goes against a paying provider stays in the write-up.
Who we are
The GLP-1 Verdict is operated by an independent publisher. We are not a medical provider, pharmacy, or telehealth company, and we are not affiliated with any provider or drug manufacturer beyond ordinary affiliate agreements. We do not cover every provider in the market; the ones we review reflect our editorial priorities and reader interest.
