EllieMD works differently from most telehealth weight-loss sites in two ways. First, you build a formula before you see a price: pick injection or twice-weekly oral drops, pick a GLP-1 or a dual GLP-1/GIP base, then pick an add-on such as L-carnitine, glycine or NAD+. Second, it sells through a network of brand partners who earn commissions, which is why the testimonials carry a disclosure that some come from paid partners. The site never names semaglutide or tirzepatide on its weight-loss pages; it uses the pathway names instead, so ask your clinician which molecule your formula contains.

Every plan ships three months at a time from a dedicated 503A compounding pharmacy, and your clinician reassesses you every 12 weeks on every plan length. The injectable GLP-1 with L-carnitine costs $717 for three months, $1,374 for six and $2,388 for twelve, which the configurator shows as $239, $229 and $199 a month. The GLP-1/GIP injection runs $897, $1,734 and $2,988. Oral drops start at $897 per three months for the GLP-1 version and $1,137 for GLP-1/GIP. A one-time purchase is also offered at a higher price than any subscription.

The terms are where you need to slow down. Weight management carries a three-month minimum, plans renew automatically at the same length you bought, and you must cancel at least 48 hours before renewal or the next block bills in full. Paying in installments does not get you out of the remaining payments if you quit mid-term. Introductory discounts usually apply only to the first order.

For someone who knows they want a year of treatment, the twelve-month injection price is reasonable and the quarterly reassessments add structure. For someone just testing whether a GLP-1 suits them, prepaying a quarter with no refund once the pharmacy has the prescription is a real risk. Compounded formulas like these are not FDA-approved, and EllieMD says so on its own pages.
