Our take on Hers
If you last looked at Hers when it was known for cheaper compounded semaglutide, the menu has changed. In October 2026 its weight-loss page listed only FDA-approved, brand-name medications: the Wegovy pill and a Wegovy pill microdosing plan from $149 a month, the Wegovy pen from $199 with doses from 0.25mg up to 7.2mg, Zepbound vials and KwikPens from $299, the new Foundayo pill from $149, an Ozempic pill from $149 and Ozempic from $199. Mounjaro and Zepbound also appear at $1,899 a month. No compounded option appears anywhere on the menu, and the FAQ describes the range as FDA-approved GLP-1 medications. For readers who wanted a brand drug without an insurance fight, that is a real shift.
The pricing has two layers, and the small print on every card spells it out: the price covers the medication only, and an active Hers Weight Loss Membership is required and billed separately. The membership is $39 for the first month, then renews at $149 a month. So the cheapest path, the Wegovy pill at its starting price, comes to about $188 in month one and about $298 a month after that. The Wegovy pen starts near $348 a month all in, and Zepbound near $448. Every medication price is a "from" figure, and the FAQ adds that pricing may vary by dosage, so expect the bill to move as your provider adjusts the dose.
What the membership buys is support around the drug: a provider review of your intake, 24/7 messaging with licensed providers, monthly follow-ups with a care team, dose adjustments requested from the app, a smart scale shipped separately if you opt in, a private member community, and discounts from partner brands. Insurance is not part of the payment model. Hers distinguishes the medication fee, which may qualify for FSA/HSA reimbursement, from the membership fee, which does not. It says FSA/HSA cards cannot be the payment method on file; confirm reimbursement with your own plan.
Cancellation needs planning. The terms require at least two days' notice before renewal. If medication for a prepaid plan has already shipped, membership cancellation takes effect at the end of that supply period and membership charges remain due until then. Canceling only the medication plan leaves membership renewal active. The first membership fee is nonrefundable, and shipped medication cannot be refunded. GLP-1 access is not offered in every state, so confirm availability during intake before committing.
