Our take on Found
Found's prices make sense once you see that every plan has two settings: insurance or cash, and one, three, six or twelve months. For compounded semaglutide, the 28-day price with insurance runs from $199 month to month down to $99 on a twelve-month plan. Cash-pay runs from $289 down to $169. Compounded tirzepatide now has its own, higher price list: $289 down to $179 with insurance, and $359 down to $239 cash. The medication, the clinician and the membership are all included. On the insurance track, you also pay your visit copay, which Found says is usually about $30. First-month promotions knock $100 off, so a new insured semaglutide member pays $99 for the first cycle.
Two details change the yearly math. Found bills every 28 days, which means thirteen charges a year rather than twelve. And the lowest rates assume you commit to the full term. Insurance here pays for the clinician visits, not the compounded drug. Insured members must do a live video visit each time, while cash-pay members mostly message their clinician by text. Brand-name medications such as Wegovy, Zepbound, Ozempic, Mounjaro and the Foundayo pill are available through Found too, but their cost is billed separately from the plan.
The Medicare option sets Found apart. Through a federal program called the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge, running July 2026 through December 2027, eligible Part D members can get Wegovy, Zepbound KwikPen or Foundayo for a flat $50 monthly copay. Eligibility depends on BMI and qualifying health conditions, and Found now accepts patients aged 65 to 75 for this track. The copay covers only the medication; your Found care plan is a separate charge.
Found Health, Inc. is one of the older names in online weight care. Its compounded drugs come from U.S. 503A pharmacies with a B12 and glycine blend, and each lot is third-party tested. Compounded GLP-1s are not FDA-approved. Found reports that members who logged their weight weekly lost an average of 12% of body weight over a year. Its site also says "up to 20%," so the 12% figure is the more realistic one to plan around.
Signing up, paying and canceling
What Found's own site shows a new patient.
- Signing up starts with a three-minute health assessment. A board-certified clinician then reviews it within one to two days before anything ships. Between visits, members can message Aimee, Found's AI companion, or the support team by chat, and there is a members-only community.
- Found refunds the membership fee only if you cancel within three days of buying or before your first medical consultation. After that it is non-refundable. Renewals are non-refundable too, so cancel or pause at least 48 hours before the renewal date. Medication is non-returnable once it ships.
- Being disqualified from your preferred GLP-1 does not earn a refund if Found's clinicians can still offer you another treatment. A full refund applies only if a clinician finds you ineligible for every option.
- Found's insurance checker lists the states where it accepts insurance plans, and the compounded product pages carry a "not available in all states" note without naming the excluded states.
