What we like

  • Names all six dispensing pharmacies on a public page — Belmar, Strive, Epiq Scripts, Casa Pharma Rx, The Pharmacy Hub and Foothills — and explains the 503A and 503B distinction beside them. Almost nothing else in this category names one
  • Names two prescribing physicians with their NPI numbers and links to the NPPES registry to check them: Dr. Ana Lisa Carr, MD (family medicine, licensed in 15 states) and Dr. Kelly Tenbrink, MD (emergency medicine, Tennessee and Florida). Both are active in NPPES, and a fabricated control NPI returned nothing in the same pass
  • The advertised price is the checkout price. The homepage FAQ, the landing pages, the treatment pages and the live funnel all state the same figures, and nothing steps up at the payment screen
  • LegitScript Healthcare Merchant Certified, and the seal identifier resolves on LegitScript's own server rather than being a copied image — three invented control identifiers were rejected in the same pass
  • No minimum term: cancellation is self-serve through a portal, effective at the end of the current billing period, and the company states plainly that cancelling is always free. A pre-renewal email lands before each charge, price changes require at least 30 days' notice, and a clinician declining you refunds in full
  • All 50 states and Washington DC, with the seven states plus DC that require a video visit named rather than buried. Shipping is included when a prescription is written, and the programme is FSA and HSA eligible
  • A genuinely monthly brand-name path sits alongside the compounded one — Zepbound at $1,069, Ozempic at $1,299, Wegovy and Mounjaro at $1,349 — so the only line here billed by the month is also the only FDA-approved one

The caveats

  • There is no month-to-month rung for the compounded medications. The funnel renders no cadence selector at all: semaglutide is $597 charged every twelve weeks and tirzepatide $897, and the “/mo average” on every marketing page is that prepay divided by three
  • The cash-flow shape is the likeliest bill shock. Renewal is anchored “every 12 weeks starting 4 weeks after approval”, so a $139 first payment on semaglutide is followed four weeks later by $597 in one go — $179 then $897 on tirzepatide
  • Twelve weeks is not three months. An 84-day block recurs about 4.35 times a year while the advertised average divides by three, so on their own published renewal terms a first year of semaglutide is $139 plus four charges of $597 — $2,527, or $210.58 a month — settling near $2,596 a year, about $216 a month, against an advertised $199. Tirzepatide is $179 plus four charges of $897, or $3,767 in the first year at $313.92 a month, settling near $3,900 a year, about $325 a month, against an advertised $299. The advertised average understates the ongoing rate by roughly 8.7%
  • The headline numbers are first-period rates only. $139 and $179 buy four weeks, and the sitewide “Up to $120 off your first month” banner is a discount rather than a price
  • The compounded medications are not FDA-approved and are not generic equivalents of Wegovy or Zepbound. Pallas discloses that properly; it is still the trade being made
  • Only two clinicians are named site-wide. Clinical care is delivered by Lion MD on the CareValidate platform, and Pallas states plainly that it is a technology company that does not employ medical providers — but the affiliated professional corporations that actually prescribe are not published, and the footer's “Provider directory” link resolves to a section naming the same two physicians
  • Belmar, one of the six pharmacies Pallas names, received an FDA warning letter over compounding practices issued in March 2023 and addressed to “Belmar Pharma Solutions, Drug Depot, LLC., dba APS Pharmacy”. FDA closed that letter out in October 2023. Pallas itself has no warning letter on FDA's index
  • Two fees are easy to miss: a $60 visit deposit can be retained in the eight video-visit jurisdictions if you neither attend nor reschedule and then abandon the intake — otherwise it is refunded and credited to the first order — and $5 is deducted from each refunded payment for purchases made on or after 14 July 2026, never on clinician-declined or unfulfilled orders, which refund in full
  • The “4.8” rating in the marketing carries no published source, the before-and-after “Verified Customer” stories carry a caveat that the individuals shown may be actors or models, and the site's own footer says some of its content is AI-generated with no warranty as to accuracy — so its blog is not a source we will cite for a clinical claim
  • No insurance, ever, which makes the brand-name shelf a cash proposition at $1,069 to $1,349 a month — far above what an insured patient pays for the same product
  • Not published: whether baseline or follow-up lab work is included or billed separately, and whether the price moves with dose beyond the flat claim, since there is no dose selector before purchase. The company launched in July 2026 and has no Trustpilot or BBB record we could corroborate
