Our take on Measured
Measured, run by Better Health Labs out of New York, sells two very different products under one roof. The first is all-in compounded medication: semaglutide from $119 a month and tirzepatide from $219, with the drug included and no insurance required. The second is a brand-name membership, where Measured's team submits prior authorizations for Wegovy, Zepbound, Ozempic or Mounjaro and you pay the drug separately, whether through your plan or in cash.
The brand-name prices are spelled out on Measured's homepage, which is more than many competitors offer. The membership starts at $49 a month for the Wegovy pill, struck through from $129, and is $99 a month on the Zepbound page. On top of that, cash-pay medication runs $149 to $299 for the Wegovy pill, $199 to $349 for the Wegovy pen and $299 to $449 for Zepbound, depending on dose. Measured also sells a GLP-1 microdose of semaglutide or tirzepatide at $79 a month, down from $99, which it files under longevity rather than weight loss.
What the membership adds is people. Measured lists registered dietitians, care coordinators, obesity-trained providers and a private member community, and its terms say dietitian visits are billed to your health plan through a partner called Bridge, so you owe only the usual copay. You can even book a dietitian without subscribing. Insurance is accepted for brand-name drugs but never for the membership, and Measured currently turns away patients with active Medicaid, Medicare or TRICARE.
The fine print rewards reading. Plans can be billed monthly, quarterly, semiannually or annually and renew automatically at the then-current rate; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period with no partial refund. Fees become non-refundable as soon as a clinician reviews your intake or medication ships. There is a six-month money-back guarantee, but only for members with a starting BMI of 30 or more who stay active for 180 straight days, log at least 21 weigh-ins and still lose under 5 percent, and the claim must be emailed between day 181 and day 210. Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are not FDA-approved.
