Our take on HumeCare+
HumeCare+ comes from Hume Health, the company behind the Hume Pod smart scale, and the scale is the whole idea. Instead of selling a vial and a chat window, it sells a "protocol": a compounded GLP-1 prescribed by a clinician, a Hume Pod that estimates fat and lean mass, the Hume app for logging doses and food, and supporting nutrients such as glycine, B12 and B6 built into the program. If you have read that GLP-1 weight loss can take muscle with it and you want numbers rather than a bathroom-scale guess, this is the program built around that worry.
The price on the homepage in October 2026 was a three-month plan that "starts at" $299, shown crossed out next to $199 a month with a "Welcome Credit Applied! Saving $100" banner. The page lists the medical consultation, doctor support, the Pod, the app and shipping as free, adding up to a claimed $631 in savings. What it does not say is whether the $100 credit applies to every month or only the first, which molecule or dose the $199 covers, or what a monthly plan would cost instead. The terms add two qualifiers worth reading: some medications, dosages or formulations can carry extra charges, disclosed only at fulfillment, and a non-refundable clinical consultation fee is collected at enrollment and at each refill, with no amount published.
The guarantee needs the same care. The homepage says to lose 10% of your body weight in six months or get your money back. The terms describe something narrower: a 90-day guarantee for first-time GLP-1 users only, paying out if you see no measurable weight loss at all, and only if you log every dose in the app with no misses, stay an active paying member and file a claim within 14 days. Even then the consultation fees are excluded. Treat it as a small safety net, not a reason to sign up.
